Due to the current situation with COVID 19 and the Welsh Government guidelines, there will be a few changes at The Mill.  We want to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of our customers and staff and also to ensure that you have an enjoyable visit with us.

  • To ensure we have a table available for you please make a reservation prior to arrival.  The Welsh Government Regulations state that a maximum of 6 may sit together (this does not include children under 11 or if the group is from the same household).

  • We are proud to support the Welsh Government and NHS Test, Trace and Protect system and will ask you for contact details of the lead person in your group.  This is a legal requirement, if you refuse to provide the information we will not be required to provide a table for you.

  • On arrival please sanitise your hands and wait to be seated. You may also be asked to have your temperature taken.


  • Please wear a face covering at all times on arrival and whilst walking around the restaurant.

  • During your visit please adhere to the one-way system in place.

  • You may notice that the tables are quite bare as they will not be laid as usual,  this is to reduce the risk of contamination.

  • If you have a table on the balcony in adverse weather conditions you can not seek shelter indoors unless social distancing can be maintained.  This will be decided by the management as they have the information on inside table reservations.

  • Tables and chairs have been positioned in line with social distancing requirements and we therefore ask you to refrain from moving them to different positions

  • Service will be strictly table service only. We ask that younger children are not allowed to wander around the restaurant to ensure the safety of other customers.  Children under the age of 11 will not be permitted in The Mill without a supervising adult

  • The toilets will be available for The Mill customers only. The key to open them will be available on request.

  • We actively encourage contactless or card payments

  • If arriving without a prior reservation and there is no table available we will ask you to remain in your car or under the walkway at the bottom of the entrance stairs, ensuring social distancing.  The staff will inform you when a table becomes available.


Please be patient with us as service may take a little longer as we will be thoroughly cleaning the tables and chairs between each customer.
